I am trying to get the colour picker to pick colours from the runescape client, yet everytime i click the colour pick, my whole screen goes white, and white is the only colour i can pick, and also when i use the 'client selector' tool or whatever, i can only select the simba page, if i move out of it, the screen goes red. This may be down to that i am using a mac? i am not sure, if there isn't a fix for this i would appreciate someones time to help me getting the colour codes :D

In Simba, Press Ctrl + B.. it shrinks simba to a about half your screen witdh/height.. now press the colour picker.. looks like an eye drop.. now move the mouse of the colour you want. Now click.

Look in the debug box and you will see the co-ordinates of the colour on screen + colour you picked.

Yeah thats my problem, when i click the colour picker, my whole screen just goes blank!

[edit] my whole screen goes white, and the only colour i can pick is therefore, white.

Also i think this might be down to running on a mac, i have simba running through wine, then my RS client runs through mac software, maybe i will try running internet explorer through wine...

I'm sorry to be posting another thread about the same matter, but this has brought my script to a standstill, as I am kinda following, well a script. My problem basically being when i try using the colour picker tool to select an 'oak tree' on my runescape client, or on a photoshop document, or a text edit document, it simply turns my screen fully white untill i select the colour, and obviously the only colour i can select is white. Very confused, could be something to do with that i am running simba through wine, and my rs client is a mac software.

No need to make multiple threads, I'm tryign to search for forums for an answer for you I'm not too familiar with that problem. Just search the forums yourself too and be patient.
Merged threads.

Are you sure you're suing the color picker tool and not a different one?

I would not use the Color picker tool for scripts. So if you just looking for 1 color it seems to be very robotic (or something like "movemouse(x, y);"). You should read this. It is really helpfull.

Better you use Simba over an VM Ware. VM Ware Fusion for example allowes you to start windows in a transparent mode. You just have your normal mac superficie and windows programms are running on it. Works great for me (yes, i am using Simba with VM Ware Fusion over my mac ;) )

Immanoobbot, please restrain from double-posting...

However, using ACA to pick the color for him... smart idea :)
