Soo i had some trouble with my antivirus lately. I've had simba installed and working fine for a few days now and suddenly a few hours ago my Anti virus
F-secure "detected" a trojan(yes i know it's not a trojan for real) and now im trying to reinstall simba Becouse apperently f-secure uninstalled it all. and now when i re install it and im putting my antivirus on again, it immediately "detects" the trojan and uninstalls my simba, and i cant stop the uninstallation or anything.
I have tried putting simba in the " Allow list" (Don't know how to translate that from Swedish)
Any help is Appreciated.

Can you check your quarantined list and tell us what file it is detecting as a virus and deleting? It does not detect the installer? Is it a plugin? The Simba.exe itself?
Oh and where did you download simba from? Have you tried adding the Folder itself to the exclude list?

I use Microsoft Security Essentials and it doesn't tell me Simba is a trojan, may be you could try it out, it is pretty safe and doesn't give you as many false positives, it is free but you need legal windows for it. It is pretty hard to add programs to your allow list, you can add the actual installer to an allow list but I doubt you can get it to overlook an entire program, I would just change antivirus if it isn't too much of a problem for you. Sorry I can't help more.

I would change the antivirus if i could but the problem is that it is my School Laptop, and they would probably rage irl if i removed stuff.

Thats a false alarm.. For some reason Simba is giving off digital signatures that viruses give off :S Almost all of the time though, Trojan.Gen's are false positives. If it's not accepting Simba.exe as an exception then the only thing to do is put the antivirus in Gaming mode or wait until someone else has a fix such as Wizzup?.
If you can get simba to start, turn off some of the extensions like that "Security.sex, Associate.sex" and see what happens

It's the auto updater in Simba, we don't know why it's being flagged as a Trojan. We are working on getting it white listed.
