I know you guys most likely are Simba supporters ( Of course lol), but I was wondering what do u guys think about RID. Is it safe by the way to do their free trials? Anyone done it?

RiD is a over-hyped, and crappy bot. Really, it's not worth your time.

I actually looked at RiD 2 days ago, and the process involved I found to be annoying. I don't want to change my Windows theme to look like a computer from the 90's.... Then I tried to use the free trial and I disliked the way the bot operated.

To be completely honest, all of the skills RiD offers are the easy to bot ones, and in the most generic ways. I feel we have much more versatility here at SRL and we definitely have more available scripts.

Is RiD open-source? No
Is everything at RiD free? No
Does anyone there help teach new users to script? No
Can the community as a whole develop for RiD? No
What's priority #1 at RiD? Profit
What would the development team say if someone wants to be a part of the team? "Get lost"
How limited is the script selection at RiD? Very

Am I missing anything?

RiD is safe. Go ahead and try it yourself. However it really isn't that great.

I have nothing against any bots, feel free to use rid, its a decently made bot compare to like rsbots.net (some)

It's seriously good to try new things.. But I have to say.. Atm your best bet for botting is Definitely SRL.. I'm not going to say Simba.. Why? Because I learned to script for scar first and it still counts to me.

As for specifically Simba vs RID.. I'd definitely have to vote for Simba without a doubt in my mind.. I've tried RID personally for their "Magic" scripts.. and it was that one where you go to Alkharid and play that minigame and it gets you infinity boots and robes n stuff (of course it's some free TRIAL).. Oh God I can't believe I don't remember the name of that minigame.. but yeah that minigame.. man that bot was so human like but HORRIBLE at what it did..

By Human like, I mean the mouse and the movements. That is actually really well done tbh but the scripts.. man they lack in quality and everything else.

I agree with everyone, RID is garbage compared to what you have here.

before i knew simba existed i used rid
but then i found out about simba and tbh its soo much better because you can edit bots and make your own and you dont have to give up your mouse
plus rid charges you money for what you can get free here you just have to know what you are doing with simba

RiD is 100% safe, the bot won't steal your password. I've botted over 9000 hours with RiD with no bans or worries. It's another color based bot that reads directly from the screen. There are a lot of measures taken to make it human-like.

As far as Simba vs RiD I feel both communities are excellent (when compared to powerbot/epicbot/sythe). I enjoy how Simba is geared towards learning to script which is invaluable. It's something you'll never get at RiD. Bot performance is comparable. Neither can solve all randoms atm. RiD is easier to use as it doesn't require scripting knowledge. RiD has a price to support server costs but really 7 cents an hour is cheap. Price is also a deterrent for gold farming. RiD is coded by one person severely limiting new bots/changes so disadvantage there. So in the end it depends what you want. If you want to know what your bot is doing, how exactly it works, and how to make a script yourself your good here. If you want a 'do it for me' sort of thing try RiD :P

The thing that nobody has mentioned about RiD is that when you bot with it you literally cant touch your computer because the bot will stop. I bot with it one night and my mouse moved some how while i was sleeping and i got 40 mins of pest control total. Also acknowledge this means no more villavu and no more trolling with friends on 4chan

There is a guide on RiD's site to set up a virtual machine so you can happily continue using your mouse :P

Obviously it's for profit too. I'm just saying he couldn't do it for free either. At least not without donations or private wealth.

Yeah, just say they had 100 users running the bot at any given time...

$7 an hour for a server?
