uptext problem

When i use the uptext('string') function
i does not work always
when i use getuptext('...') to check what is wrong i get weird characters

Anyone know how this can be solved?

First, make sure there isn't a lot of whitish color behind the uptext. if there is, then the OCR algorithm will have trouble differentiating text from background.

If that's not the problem, then uptext is seriously bugged because that is pure gibberish.

For uptext in general it's recommended to not search for strings with spaces, so if I was looking for "Chop-down Yew" I would use
IsUptextMulti(['Chop', 'Yew']);
