XP checking if you manage to kill it very quickly (see my script for infos). Easy to produce false positives to combine it with something like a DTM or BMP of an dead HP bar, and you should be good to go.

Killer, that would work. Except for the fact that the hill giants and other places are super crowded.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make it notice if the npc you are attacking has died??This is how I do this in HLR (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67285): HLR uses a combination of XP calculation (very accurate, but 26.5 for a goblin) and checking for a Full HP Bar Bitmap (one row bitmap, full red) in vincinity of us. It also checks the minimap for legits. If not, then the full hp bar bitmap is my kill.
Here is the bitmap:
FullHitBar := BitmapFromString(56, 1, 'meJxjYrdmYMhhYGgCIkaGLgw0iZl' + // bitmap of full red status indicating dead npc // upd. 03-11
'hFjJiYVgIR6wMq+CIg2EjDO3EhTgZDgARhIFHGQZazcRuDQB2 WiWA'); // tried assigning lcally, but Simba kept it in mem :(
SetBitmapName(FullHitBar,'FullHitBar');
