Jagex just announced a quest, with 90 FM requirement. I am nowhere near, and I hate training it. So far I have only botted with anything but my main, the reason being that I really don't want to get my main banned. With Simba I have never lost an account, but if there is even a chance of me getting banned, then I will train FM up with out botting.
So the question is; Is is possible to get my main banned using Simba to burn logs?
Also, I have heard that Jagex rarely banns members, which my main is, is this true?

That. I recently started botting on my main with the opinion of what happens happens. Just do it smart and look legit and you'll be fine.

Hmmh. =/ What is Jagex's policy on botting right now? Meaning, that being a member and owner of quest cape etc. will I get perm banned from getting caught once?

Yes it is possible to get banned, no matter what program you're using or what anyone says, there's always a risk.
Firemaking is a pain, it's no fun to train, no doubt. What I personally recommend is burning curly roots (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Curly_root). It's free, it's exclusive, and the exp there is comparable to burning Magic logs, and then some... Not to mention the Woodcutting exp that comes along with it.

It all depends to be completely honest....
You can never be sure what will happen, or if you will get caught, but the possibility is always there.

Unfortunately I don't even have 83 FM. (I have 71) Maybe when I reach that level.

I can tell you right now, if you're nearby your computer and actively keep an eye on your script, your chances of getting caught are slim to none. I've gone from mid 60's to well over 92 Runecrafter, an absolutely slow skill, using my own scripts. What makes me feel secure doing so is because I'm not far away incase something goes wrong.

So as long as the script seems to be running normally, there is pretty much no way that Jagex can tell that I am botting? (If I do all the randoms, etc.)

Yes it defiantly is possible to get banned. A good place to start would be running a woodcutting script in the mining guild. From there I would advise you to remove all the failsafes in the script and ensure that it will keep you logged in.

I have a 2100+ skill total account on, at least 600 of those levels are botted. Recently I've gone from ~82-96 magic botting all of it. As long as you keep an eye on the account its not something to worry about, especially if only botting such few levels

I bot 24/7 on my maxed account.
As long as you don't frequent highly botted areas (not really an issue anymore), then it won't be a problem.
