What a headache.

I had simba 980, I updated to 982 and now my exe program is gone so there's no way to execute simba.

what do I need to do?

Did you search your computer files for simba? It could be hiding. Re downloading might help too.

Unless you changed the installation directory it should be C:\Simba\Simba.exe

When updating it renamed some of the simba files it renamed the Simba.exe to OLD_Simba_exe so the program can't be executed.

I've tried to numerous times reinstalling simba and I get the error "183" as in the files in C:Simba can't not be overwritten, I've tried deleting the C:\Simba and also unistalling it followed by reinstalling it and its the same error code over and over.

Open task manager and make sure Simba isn't running then just delete the Simba folder. Unless the program is running it shouldn't stop you from just deleting the whole folder then try to reinstall it. It shouldn't give you that error then because there won't be anything to overwrite.

Optionally you can move settings.xml to another location if you have used Simba already and don't want to redo everything.
