Hi, I've just started using Simba today, but have had an issue in the set up.

This comes up when I go to run MSI -

Exception in Script: Duplicate declaration "IsKeyDown" at line 5, column 36 in file "C:/Simba/Includes/SRL/SRL/misc/smart.simba"

Any advice would be gratefully accepted

Thanks in advance

Make sure you have java installed.
Make sure it's java 6, not 7.
I think that's the fix.

Go to C\Simba\Includes and delete the SRL folder.
Then in simba do
SRL>Settings>OverRide Update
SRL>Update
and try again.

Use RevoUninstaller to completely rip Java out of your system. Unless you know how to edit the registry, then you can do it by hand since it's not hard.

I tried hard as hell and could not get it working for Goon!
I didn't try revo but I tried everything else! I'll try that now, if that doesn't work I'm 100% lost!

I just checked my own simba include.. Actually opened every single file to exist and did a ctrl+f on each one.. found no duplicates :S Found uses though:

Simba: IsFKeyDown
Path: Path Recorder
Smart: IsKeyDown

That's all that was found.. :S What script were u trying to run? Ahh trying to run MSI Hmmm..

Hmm I see.. Awkward.. I'm using simba 1.00 though so :S I can probably try if you wish but I'd say to uninstall simba, delete your C:/Simba folder..

Install this:
http://www.moparisthebest.com/jenkins/job/Simba_Stable/95/artifact/Projects/Simba/Simba.i386-win32.exe

It's a nightly build x32 version of Simba. I use it on Windows 8 atm.. pretty stabled.

Then for your include, copy this to MyDocuments.. As that's where simba stores its new includes.
http://www.mediafire.com/?9cp6k7a45qce5iu
Just unzip it.. Should then look like C:/Users/Username/Documents/Simba/Includes.. etc.. Don't forget to re-enable the extensions and update SRL/MSI/etc..

Why I think this will work? Well it stores ur include in a different location and only reads from there so.. it shouldn't give u duplicate crap. If it does then.. damn something is wrong with ur comp. You can always try enabling a guest account and see if simba/MSI runs on that.

P.S. If anyone else wants different nightly builds then here: http://www.moparisthebest.com/jenkins/job/Simba_Stable/95/

Hahaha lol well hopefully the nightly build works.. if it does then any time he wants to reference the include, it'd be at documents/Simba/ instead of C:/Simba.

Open Extensions.Zip.. you should see a bunch of folders.. just drag them all to Documents/Simba.

There is no Simba folder in My Documents, I deleted it with other version of Simba.
Can I just create a folder named Simba in My Documents?

There is no Simba folder in My Documents, I deleted it with other version of Simba.

Your supposed to install the nightly build first! then when you go to view->Extensions.. it'll be blank. A simba folder should now appear in my documents.
OR u can just make the folder called "Simba"
