i decide to install and set up simba on my desktop (previously on my laptop) and i set everything up the same way by watching the tutorial on here. but on my desktop im getting this error after hitting run on the msi that pops up

anyone able to help me correct this. and incase your wondering, i have delete all simba related files and folders and tryed redownlaoding and installing with no luck

Just close simba, and try again.
Make sure you filled out all settings properly in all tabs.
If all else fails go to c\simba\includes\msi and delete the players.txt file and try again.
It's a problem that occurs randomly and not really a set fix for it.

It is being worked on. I have this problem also. Coh3n is looking into it. For now use MSI without setting up using the form, use the script.

so --->open msi----> hit run and go threw that menu instead you mean

Try using MSI without saving the information at the end. I have to fill out the info every time I use MSI because I get that error every time I push save.

Go to MSI and find line
USE_FORM = True;
make it into
USE_FORM = False;
Then you must manually type in your settings instead of using the pop up form, learn how here:
