Hi all,

Basically when I use Simba I run it from my laptop and it seems to run smoothly without running the CPU high and lagging, I'm still able to browse the net etc.

Well recently my laptop charger has stopped working so I decided to Try run Simba on my Desktop pc. I found that it lags a lot, so much that the script fails and messes up or its really slow and doesn't flow. The CPU is constantly at 99% when a script is running and even when I slide the FPS bar to maximum its slightly better but still not runnable. I've also tried setting the priority on the Simba.exe process to high, again it slightly helps but to a certain extent, once again not enough for the script to run smoothly.

The PC has recently been rebooted completely so there's hardly anything on it at the moment, although it is about 5-6 years old.

Specs are as followed:

Windows Xp Media Center Edition

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHZ
2 GB RAM

It's not that bad is it? lol :P

Any suggestion or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to have a read :)

You may be using Java7 which is notorious for being a piece of ... Instead download and install Java6.31

You could also simply disable the graphics, and check in time to time if anything is out of ordinary. It helps the lag a little bit.
