A series of unfortunate events :(

I've been using Harry's Catacomb Grabber (Dragith Nurn Killer) for a long time, i ran it this morning for about 3 hours and came to look at my progress and saw that i was wielding a staff of air ( i was training mage ) at the altar near the entrance to the catacomb. I thought the script just misclicked and wielded the staff and failed to walk back to Nurn. I was going to tele to varrok and saw my staff of air was missing because i was wielding it, not only that but all my armor ( worth taking ) and my money was gone. I got HACKED :( I don't think it was from this script though, here is a list of ALL the scripts I have entered my User/pass into:

You really think a Senior SRL member would steal pixels? Pond-fisher was created by Flight and he's a very respectable script writer.

All I can say is run a virus scan and if it finds nothing reformat your computer if you don't want this to happen again.

Did you by any chance download any of the "free 100% working rs bots" from Youtube?

I lost about 6.5m, virus scan came out clean, and I don't download things from youtube.
I'm not concerned about the fact that I lost money because 6.5m is easy to get back, i want to know how someone got my pass...

on topic: flight is a respected member, when you try scripts with your main always go for the more respected members...not that im saying you shouldnt trust everyone else but these ones have a repution to stand for

Yeah Pond-Fisher was my first color script. :/ You're more than welcome to look thoroughly through the script and see for yourself there's nothing malicious in there. From what I've seen we've only ever had two scripts that did something like; both creators of them are permanently banned.

Do you happen to have the IP address of the previous login session? We could tell you for sure if it was someone from SRL by running it and matching it to the IPs of all the users here.

My first suspicion is that you tried downloading a different bot from somewhere else. Any other bot will put your account at risk, none other is open-source like Simba & all the scripts you download.

I do however suggest u do a through scan of ur computer to make sure everything is in order.

AGS is one of my favorite scripts (used it for 1-80 mage in a few days), when i logged on and saw i was hacked i logged out to the lobby and looked at the ip, it said last logged in yesterday from my ip (but i logged on multilpe times on the day i was hacked).

Again I'm sure sorry it happened Kerk but I'd bet everything I have on the promise that SRL scripts are safe. If you'd like I could sell some of my runes and gladly pay you back for what you've lost. Ironically I'm quite poor in Runescape (:p), but if you're certain it was at the fault of mine (or anyone else's script) it's a price I'm willing to pay.

If you enable that a window will pop up asking for permission for everything send to the internet by the script.

Pretty alot of these threads are popping up, the thing i find suspicious is that these people always say "i didnt download from youtube, i run virus scans all the time, i dont download anything sketchy, and so on." all these things firstly sound very unbelievable because the amount of caution to not do those things would have to be very great... everyone makes mistakes... Just IMO and dont flame please but, could these just be trolls takin a stroll? {--- Mine dont bite.
