Question about MSI [Archive] - SRL

Within Simba the extension MSI I have it setup to override update. Each time I need to restart Simba and run MSI I must update MSI twice because of errors. Something about it can't find some SRL file or something. Anyway I can fix this so I don't have to update MSI twice each time I start Simba? You'd think updating would....update?

After you override update, turn it off then close and reopen and try to update again. You dont need to override unless it tells you that theres a newer version but wont update. Let me know if this helps and I will come up with something else if it doesnt.

Thank you for the reply kevin. This is an error it was giving me:

Running MSI...
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/core/text.simba(646:13): Unknown identifier 'UpChars' at line 645
Compiling failed.

I disabled Override Update and ran it again. Three or four things which looked like problems appeared then vanished and it ran fine so maybe things are ok now. I had Override Update on from nearly a week ago cause one night I had an error and it wouldnt update as the issue was already resolved.

Is your Simba all up to date? MSI? SRL? Everything?
You dont need to override an update. Just turn it off and update normally. If it says new version then itll upload itself. If not then your all good. If you were up to date you wouldnt get an error. Try it and let me know if just plain old updaing everything without override works.

Yeah everything is up to date. When I turned override update off it ran and is currently running.

Ok lol I thought that was the problem. Make sure you post any new problems you get on the scripts thread if its an issue with the script or on this thread or a thread dealing with the same sort of issue. Feel free to ask anything. I am happy to answer your questions whenever.

Then it runs fine after that no updating. Just running again.
