You do sell price - buy price. So if you payed $1 for something, and sold it for $1.50, you would do sell price, which is $1.50, take away the buy price, which is $1. So you have $1.50 - $1 = $0.50 profit. If you were doing this on a spreadsheet, if you had buy price in cell C2, and sell price in C4, you would put =C4-C2 ($1.50 - $1) = $0.50. If you have MSN, PM me if you want, and I can help you out more.

(*

GetGEPrice
~~~~~~~~~~
.. code-block:: pascal
function GetGEPrice(v: variant): Integer;
Collects first results from the passed argument using `GetGEItems`. It is
suggested to use IDs for this function due to it only returning one option.
Example:
.. code-block:: pascal
WriteLn(GetGEPrice('rune plate')); // by name!
WriteLn(GetGEPrice(379)); //lobster, by ID!
http://www.runelocus.com/itemlist.html
It was the first hit google btw with the following search terms: runescape id item list
last edit:
http://services.runescape.com/m=itemdb_rs/results.ws
Than just hover the items facebook link, it ends on the items id.
You dont need IDs, you can do it by names:
WriteLn(GetGEPrice('rune plate')); // by name!
Yes you can use names but as the description says it would be preferred to use the IDs to limit the results that you would get back. If you searched 'boots' you would get pages of boots.
Not that hard to put in exact name. 'Rune boots' or 'Dragon boots'.....
But you still got a noted and unnoted version of each item. And there are loads of items with the same name. Always use item ids.
