Hi!

If wrong section, sorry, I can never decide where to put my stupid non-srl questions .

So recently I was thinking about buying a gamepad for gaming(PC), but I do not really play a lot(any game) and then it's even only a few games that I could use a gamepad for, so I was thinking about buying a cheap one that will serve me for years.

I was looking around and saw that there are some extremely cheap "no-name" ones, but I have never touched a gamepad beforehand so I don't even know what to look for, but I generally know that sometimes "no-name" can be as good or better.

What should I look for deciding between gamepad and gamepad or is there any that you can suggest right of the bat?:)

Appreciated,
Sabzi

p.s.: I have not included any price because prices are all together different and conversion makes it even worse.
[off-rant]Yay for crappy little country with crappy weak currency. Of course things are not cheaper.[/off-rant]

I bought a ps2 imitation controller on ebay for use with an emulator. Its corded but has vibration and everything. I can provide a link if you like.

If you're doing any serious gaming I'd invest about $40 or $50 and get a nicer one, but this is good for playing every so often.

EDIT: My roommate has one of these and really likes it:

No, I don't want fancy stuff like that.
With wire without vibration or anything of that extra kind.

ebay has the cheapest. The problem is, getting the game your playing to recognize the controller. So I would research the best one that is most supported, which might be an Xbox 360 controller. Also sometimes it is hard to make the controls match from controller to pc. Just make sure you know its going to work before you buy it is all i can say. I remember buying one off ebay, and it never worked. They have converter cables for PS controllers, and Xbox360 ones too. GL
