IP Changing

Ok, i want to change my IP, but the problem is, i can't find the phone jack i plugged my router into.

lol.....try this.
goto START, RUN, Type in CMD. Hit {enter}

now you should be at some kind of command prompt.
now type IPCONFIG and hit {enter}

okay....find your Default Gateway: 192.168.100.1

enter that into your browser.

your inside your router from your pc now.
Most routers have a "reset IP" which automatically assigns you a new IP.

if you have a linksys router the pass is usually admin

Look on the router; My Netgear has the username and pass printed on it

Lol, k i'll try tomorrow, i'm only 14 so i can't just walk in and check :P.

Sometimes if you just unplug your router over night, your ip will change, try that.
