Why was / is the following function required ?

I have read the description "Converts a point on the Mainscreen to the point in the Bank." but the penny just hasn't dropped.

Why would you want to convert a Main Screen TPoint to the Bank anyway? Thx!

Bank Point is position of item in bank i believe. bankpoint.x = row , bankpoint.y = col. First item in bank has position (0,0).
