I was wondering if you guys could tell me why a ";" is needed at the end of each line?

Thanks to anyone who explains this to a new guy :) This is programming :spot:, there are certain conventions you have to follow. At the end of a sentence in english, you need a PERIOD. Right? Well that or a Semi colon ; Anyway. Most programming languages need something to end the statement, or line, or whatever. Free pascal needs a semi colon at the end of each statement except for some certain ones like maybe cases. I heard some lines don't need it, but its always good practice to include it, just in case you mess up somewhere in your code, you then don't have to worry about it.
