What will happen if my DTMs were not freed?

Will anything bad happen? Dont seems like. I have DTM, stop script without freeing it and so far doesn't appear to have any harm? Why do I need to free it? Just for memory efficiency?

If you keep calling it and never freeing it, it just keeps getting loaded into the memory again and again

Well didn't really solve my doubts.. so for as long as I dont feel any lag for not freeing DTM, even if memory leak are theoretically present, im fine right?

Depents how often you call function that contains memory leak.
If you want perfect script -> you should fix it.
