How to add picture

Probably he always had a topic on this, but i didn't find it.
I have a very stupid question, how can I add picture to a thread ?
I know how to, but my picture is too big, ( it's a screenshot, i think it's like 1024 x 624, i'm not sure) I resized it with pain but when i uploaded the picture on the forum, it's very very small.
So how can I resize it and which option I should use to uploaded it ?

I personally use http://tinypic.com/

Just choose a resize option then pots the link within [ IMG ] [ /IMG ]

Tinypic will delete ur imgs. Use imgur and put on [IMG] tags
