SRL Member?

I've taken basic scripting courses, my script writing ability hasn't really developed past their. The best I can muster these days is basic changes, to fix an error but even then I need some sort of guidance. From what i have seen to become an SRL member you have to have created a script. I am just curious is there any other ways to become a member?

No there is a lot of scripting experience and involvement in the community to be considered for SRL Member. There is no other way to get in to members like "buying" your way in, like the members say "If your just trying to get in for the scripts don't bother at all".

i was more thinking off being an active member, helping others on threads, creating set-up guides, helping people fix set-up issues and those sorts of things, thanks for the quick reply :D

It's possible to become an SRL member without scripting experience, although it requires contributing to the community in other ways (not money).

You can do all of these things as a registered user/junior member. Titles are overrated.

Don't worry. That's how I started scripting too. Fixing and modifying other people scripts and then slowly starting to create my own. Just don't hesitate to ask for help in the scripting help forum :)

And yeah if you script just to become SRL member you might be disappointed when you get in.

Yeah, well i was just curious, because it seems like its scripting only to become a member, thanks for the advice guys :) might punch out a youtube guide for Ggzz waterfiend killer, be sure to keep your eyes open for it :D

oh i gathered your very against taking money and the selling of your scripts, seeing ggzz and others have removed scripts entirely after he found out people were selling them :/

im a hopless scripter :/ but i can help people with set up ect, thinking of starting a yt account dedicated to that, and if anyone else wants to create guides for there scripts they can all be found in the one place?
