View Full Version : Script Help
:duh: This is the problem I get in every script "[Runtime Error] Out of range in line 43 in script" And the script is set up
39 HowManyPlayers := 0;
40 NumberOfPlayers( HowManyPlayers );
41 CurrentPlayer := 0;
42
43 Players[0].Name := 'quiiiiiiit';
44 Players[0].Pass := ' :p ';
45 Players[0].Nick := 'quit'; //2-4 letters of user
This script is not mine. It would be great If someone could help or tell me what I did wrong

yeah be sure to set HowmanyPlayers correctly, and delete all the player forms you dont use.

this makes it easy if you remember:
Last Player number +1 = how many players
example:
Player[88].Name:= gffdsfa;
Howmanyplayers:= 89;

This isnt about what you are asking, but the nick you used wouldn't do anything. You need all 2-4 letters be next to eachoter like this:
So for the username quiiiiiiit you wound want the nick to be soemthing like uii, iiit, iiii, or soemthing like that.

Oh, Ok thanks, does it really make a difference though? :cartman:

a HUMONGOUS difference. When a random event comes and yells out your name. It looks for a part of your name (The nickname you set) so it knows its you and not someone elses random and then takes the correct defenive action.
