Questions about frame rate?

Smart was running well and smooth for the past few weeks until recently, whenever I starting running a script on Smart, it will start to lag very badly. Sometimes, when i try to adjust the slider on the right, it will solve the problem but these days, it would just not work :( I am pretty sure it is not hardware issues as it have been running smoothly before so does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix it? I am using simba version 84 with smart 6.9. Thanks for helping!

Have you tried just restarting Simba?
Works well for me when it lags terribly.
Otherwise, it might just be picking a laggy world.

Use Java 6 u29, DO NOT USE 7!

Sometimes when I restart simba, it will stop lagging, sometimes it will not. This seems like a problem that I will encounter from time to time... Basically sometimes it will lag and sometimes it will not.... I am using Java 6.26 by the way. Does that matter?
