OK so I used the guide about how to get Simba on Mac OS by downloading wine and jre and then simba. Something messed up so i decided to uninstall everything...(or what i thought was everything) ever since this is what happens...

I install wine... then i download the JRE like the guide says, then i click on it to install it and nothing happens... same with simba. I dont know why nothing is happening when the files are being recognized by winebottler. I've tried restarting my computer uninstalling everything about 10 times. Im about to give up I dont even know what else I can do. Any suggestions???? PLEASE AHH

When you are uninstalling everything, are you also deleting the folders for the files, this was a problem for me on Windows where I was uninstalling the program but the folders remained and caused problems.

well i search "wine" "x11" "simba" etc for my whole mac and nothing shows, any suggestions how i find the folders?

Sorry I am not too familiar with the entire Mac OS, perhaps someone on here who uses it could give you some advice, I apologize for not knowing more.

Wine tends to cause problems haha. If you still have files from your past installation, for me my wine java file is in my "wine files" folder which is under the home tab (between desktop and applications) when I use finder. I'm not sure if that helps as you've seen to have done a thorough removal of wine, but if you followed that guide maybe it will be there.

On a side note, make sure you're doing the installation directly to your wine files (not making an application bundle) or else they may not show up either. Make sure when you download simba and java to move them within your created wine files or else you'll have problems running everything (use finder to move them--you can't really move them from within wine itself).
