So I was just wondering how rep power points are acquired?

Someone likes your post or possibly a script you wrote...clicks the blue check in the top right corner of each post, and gives you rep. :)

yeah i know how to get rep, it says i have 11 rep points but 0 rep power.

You get them from other people who add reputation to certain posts. They can either approve or disapprove the post from which you gain either positive or negative points. To do this, you simply click the blue tick symbol under a persons post count. It's anonymous but you can sign yourself if you want to, so the person who receives it knows from who received the reputation.

I think i explained this wrong, i understand what reputation points are but theres another thing on the homepage called Rep power which i believe determines how many rep points somebody gets when you rep them. I want to know how you can get this rep power.

Ooops I misunderstood you. I see what you'd like to find out now, but I honestly have no idea :D

I think its directly proportional to how much rep points you have - not sure about the maths though...

Yes, I think it is. But I know administrator (dunno if it includes moderators) get only 10. The maximum is 20 i think.

EDIT: Administrators get only 10, but the maximum is over 20...just checked, yoho has 29 :(

I believe it's a mix between postcount, rank and most important; reputation.

Well I would rep you guys for you help but it seems my rep power is 0 so... :D
