Yeah for the barrier it clicks on the square before it incase you are 2+ squares away so it runs instead of walking, then the 2nd click is the actual obstacle click. Is your FPS ok? That's the only thing I think that might mess that up. Did you try changing the DTM to the one in the previous version? Interested if that would work.

I left yours running, kept going down of course since the random pauses of waiting for fixing it self but still goes fine. The FPS seems like normal so at a proper rate.

tested again yours and apparently it stayed in the high 40's - I forgot that right now its more populated the game than hours ago.. so it seems the change does work better for me. Now testing leaving the *net how you currently have it(seems to be better the failsafe tpa - using the dtm of the old one noticed there was an issue) and then only changed the Wall & Barriers DTM of v1.81 running that right now seems alright:

Yeah not home atm but BarrierSpot dtm is where it clicks on the tile before the obstacle, then theres the barrier and the backup. Basically it just checks for the barrier, then the backup so making both the same wouldn't help. Glad its working decent now. I still have mine running at home so once I do get back I'll post the proggy.

I think your new barrier in some ways its better, I just noticed 3 times in a row the change I did.. missclicked the barrier and made him stand next to it(left side) waiting quite a few seconds before fixing it self lol.. new one is kinda more effective on that obstacle.

So I guess its only the Wall replacing which is better in the 1.81 version

Meh...DTMs so unreliable for me atm lol. Yesterday there was like 1 failsafe in an hour then today it does this. Will prolly change around some DTMs until it works well.

Hey guys,

This is my first post, and its a question/comment ;P. In this script it finds the Log, the Branches and the Pole flawlessly but it stands still for a couple of seconds at the Net, the Barrier and the wall. The debug always says : couldnt find net trying TPA backup. The same for the barrier and the wall. This slows the scripts down by quite a lot. I've looked in the script, trying to find the solution, but im no genius with programming maybe someone else knows the answer? Would be appreciated.

If you're still developing this, could you make XP/hr based on laps/hr*xp/lap?
Sometimes I end up with this...
(I think it's based on the XP counter at the moment or something)

Interesting. If this happens every time would you mind me using TeamViewer to try and debug it? If so, shoot me a PM and some point and we can arrange a time.

The only time I've had this problem is when there was some reason it was unable to read the exp counter. Does this happen randomly while the script is running? Most of the times I've seen it, it happens when the account gets logged out and then it checks for exp. Since there's no exp counter, I don't know what number it uses, but not the correct one. :p I guess I could make it based off laps completed though...might look into that later.

Script works well. The net and barrier fails every time, not sure why this is happening. With all the fails i still get a good xp rate though. Any help?

bot works well but it slows/can't find pole for a while so i get slower laps and less xp

Have you changed your zoom bar to the same way it shows on the instructions? If you have I might need to just go test it out and see if it needs to be updated.

yea i put the zoom as it should be.also dragged the performance bar to the highest.
xp bar disabled but put to agility as you wrote.
maybe the problem is that im 86 agility so i fail at the wall often.
but even if i don't fall it still search for like 10 sec. to find this poles after finishing wall.

i think that i filled the options correctly so i dont know whats the problem.
I'm gonna test it out today aswell ,maybe ill see whats wrong


btw.When i start script this pops out in log:

[Hint] C:\Simba\Scripts\TotalGnomes_v1.83.simba(46:3): Variable 'POLESPOTDTM' never used at line 45

Certain randoms will kill the script. I haven't used simba in a couple of months so not sure which randoms will fail and which it will do.

The obstacles I've noticed that take longer is the one where you need to make that big gap jump, then 2 poles obstacle that you swing on, and the obstacle after that where you need to slide down the tube. The others work fine for me. Just letting you know :). I'll repost if I find anymore useful info.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into those obstacles.

EDIT: Currently testing the script further. Should be a new v1.84 uploaded today or tomorrow to further fix the script, so keep checking back every once in a while if you want the updated version.

first id like to say that i really love this script and appreciate those that have helped make it amazing and im sorry for my super low post count (if that matters). :)

hopefully this doesnt come across as complaining... i wanted to ask for some help on modifying this script where it tries to click on the barrier at the end..hopefully i can explain this correctly.

for the most part it works flawlessly regardless if it goes to a failsafe or not, the only potential issue i can see is that if my character lands on the furthest right tile when it jumps off from the horizontal poles, my mouse will sometimes hover over to the wooded gate area to the right of where im standing looking for the uptext of the barrier (at least i believe thats what its doing) before then finding the barrier and clicking on it. it will hover between 1-3 different spots before finally moving the mouse over to the barrier.

is there some way to adjust the script to not hover over those spots? it seems very bot like and id hate for an awesome script to be perfect minus something that seems simple to correct. i usually try to modify any "issues" that i feel might need some tweaking, but im still really really new to simba scripting and i cant figure this one out...maybe its in the DTMs? idk...

also if it would help, im not using SMART at all and have commented out the necessary "SMART" lines on all the scripts that i use so i dont think thats the issue with this one, but i could be wrong.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

The script is designed to move the cursor at a random time on random laps(not every lap) while going across the poles to a random position as a sort of antiban, and once it lands and gets exp it should click on the tile in front of the barrier, and then click on the barrier itself. This is done to increase the exp/hr for the course, and it is done by many legit players who aren't botting.

If you want to know the reason for clicking in front of the barrier before clicking on it, it is so that you will take less steps to get to the barrier. It saves ~1-2 seconds per lap depending on which side of the pole you swing on. For example, if you are on the right side of the pole, if you were to just click on the barrier it would only walk there, and it will walk across an extra square. If you click on the tile in front of the barrier, it will run to the barrier and skip a square on the ground, speeding up the lap.

I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about, but if not then I'll need more info. Does it do this every lap? Have you tried restarting simba? Are your in-game settings correct?

As for not using it in SMART, I have no idea if that will change anything as I've never used simba without smart. It really shouldn't but who knows.

Hey thanks for responding! but i think we're talking about 2 different things, however i completely understand why you would throw in the extra clicks that you described.

hopefully this screenshot will help me explain (and hopefully the screenshot works):

if my character lands right where its at in the screenshot after swinging on the horizontal poles, the mouse will move over to the area to the right of me that is in the black oval and click around in there 1-3 times before moving the mouse and clicking on the barrier thats on the platform to the left of me.

the random mouse movement in the black oval area only happens if my character lands right at the spot shown from swinging on the poles. if it lands at the other 2 potential spots to the left of where its at now, it will not try to click anywhere in the black oval and will click directly on the barrier as it should.

...does that make more sense?

Ya it makes sense....but I can't see any reason for it doing that, unless it's failing the DTM and using the TPA. Does this happen every lap? I've been running the script today and haven't noticed it doing this, so not sure whats going on. Only thing I could think of is not using SMART, but I'm not sure. I guess I can try it without SMART and see if it does it.

I just tried it without SMART and it still worked correctly when it crossed the pole on the right, didn't see any hovering over on those fences. If you want I can teamview you to see if I can debug it but it's not happening for me. If it is failsafing every lap then I have to make a new DTM, but I don't know if its that.

Are you sure you have the camera zoomed all the way in? That could be the problem if you don't.

Yeah, I've made sure of that multiple times. I've tried to use this script off and on for a month or so with different versions and it still gives me the same issue. I've uninstalled/reinstalled simba, reupdated everything i can think of and still same issue..

I'll attempt at updating the DTM's for the net, wall, and barrier and post them here for people with the same issues.

Edit: The DTM attempts kinda failed :( it still searches for the TPA's which seem to work great, I don't know much about TPAs, but is there a way to make them the primary source of searching for the object instead of the DTM in order to maximise the exp rate and not have the character pause for a couple of seconds?

Is there a special way of resetting the zoom in RS settings other than dragging the slider all the way to the left like in the instructions? I'll try resetting everything again and see how it works. And about the TPA setting to the primary source, is there a possibility of doing that? I haven't made it to the advanced tutorials on TPA's yet.. :duh:

Yes it's possible, but you would have to alter the script yourself. Basically wherever it looks for a DTM you could change it to look for a TPA instead.

Just downloaded 1.84rar and when I load it up I just get a load of nonsense on my Simba.

Bit of a botting novice lol,am I missing something?

Tried 1.82 but got TPA error or something along those lines when trying to use the script.

Just downloaded 1.84rar and when I load it up I just get a load of nonsense on my Simba.

Bit of a botting novice lol,am I missing something?

Tried 1.82 but got TPA error or something along those lines when trying to use the script.

I have no idea what it's saying when you open 1.84 so I can't really help out...but if you can load 1.82 then 1.84 should work also.

just to add, ive been pretty much having the same issues even since you helped me Total. i have updated/adjusted the DTMs many many times and it will work for maybe 2 rounds of the course before it goes back to failing. no clue why, maybe it's due to lag or processing/ram power of my PC...? anyway, for the moment ive just been living with it or readjusting the DTMs when i feel like it.

still a great script tho; i only blame me/my PC/lag for the issues i have.

Yeah sometimes DTMs that aren't very easy to make so that they work at all times. I might update the DTMs soon and add in a 6 hr login bypass.

I got this script running properly now on v1.82.

Generally runs really well only problem is that on the poles after the wall jump it often takes a long time to find them or doesn't find them at all and logs out eventually.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

It's probably that the DTM needs to be updated if you know how to do that, otherwise just wait. I should be updating the script soon.

Hey guys, sorry for the double post but needed to bump so you would know theres an update to version 1.85. It took a while and was really simple but was kinda busy, but it's here now.

If someone could test it for me that would be great as I didn't test it myself, I just added it to the script although it should work in theory. Basically it should relog at 5 and a half hours and just continue as normal, if not I'll have to get an account to fix it or something.

Edit: Forgot to mention this will only bypass the 6 hour timer once, so it should run for 11 hours 30 mins, which should be enough if you are botting while you sleep or whatever.

Only problem for me is that the versions uploaded as .rar files when I open it in simba I get weird symbols instead of the script. Maybe i'm totally missing something to do with the file (bit of a novice when it comes to simba/scripts)

Would it be possible for it to be uploaded as .simba or could you perhaps explain to me how to use the .rar files properly :p

You need to install WinRAR (http://www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0) which is basically just a tool used to unzip files. Once you install that you can open it and the script will be inside.

looks like all the TPA's work. you mine as well just switch the TPA to primary finding and have it log out if they don't work. Brand 1&2 DTM's do work though

Well over 90 agility, it uses backups very often though.

Oh nice, yeah the zoom setting is pretty important. If you don't have that set correctly you will failsafe pretty often. I'm thinking of changing it to needing to be zoomed all the way out because I think that's how most scripts are.

Ran all night for me last night. Should of gotten the log for it. Got consistent ~50k xp/hr all night so very happy with it at the moment.

Can some times take a few attempts to find obstacles mainly the rope swing and the second branch at times but overall runs very well. Will try get you a nice log.

There is no rope swing on the script :s Do you mean pole swing? Should be working as long as you have max brightness/zoom set correctly.

Anyway, ran this script for 7 hours just now. Very first script I've used here, and extremely impressed with the script and 'client'.
Worked flawlessly getting me 56k xp/h at 90 agility. Just restarted the bot, going to bed now. Hope to come back home tomorrow with a 20h+ proggy :)

The recommended settings work great, averaging only one 'fail safe' trigger per half an hour.

it works relatively well, it does have trouble finding the poles pretty oftenly though. otherwise still good!

i figured i definitely had something wrong in the settings... went back and double checked sure enough i did. script is working marvelously now with 77 laps/hr. tomorrow i think i may mess with the main loop and try and implement the sixhourfix because right now it can only start from the first obstacle on the course. That may be something you want to implement or not up to you! but great script good job!

That's why I implemented the timer that just manually logs out at the start of the course after X amount of time, making it able to at least run for 11.5 hours.

Ashaman's script appears to use SPS in order to find out where it is so that it knows where to go. May try it out but I'll have to make a bunch of custom maps since a lot of the obstacles for gnome are not surface maps.

custom maps are somewhat annoying to make i'm not sure if it's because i only ever made one and it hardly worked though :p but anyways best of luck! if i think of any other ways that may work i'll let you know :)

Yeah it's what I use for my Sally script so it will collect the traps then force restart smart so I won't lose any, pretty handy!

very rarely now, my biggest problem lately has been smart just not reloading, like the sixhourfixthinks it reloads and trys to log in but then realises that SMART is still outdated so it executes.

Is your zoom set all the way to the left? The unnecessary clicking is to speed up the course, and is intentional. See the wiki (http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Gnome_Stronghold_Agility_Course#Getting_Perfect_La ps) for more info.

haha yeah i think so. 700k from 99 agil... takeing a break probs will get it while im at school tomorow. after sitting in that spot for like 5 hours i want to cool down my acc. you should probs add a timeout for when you get lost like that.

Updated to v1.90, added summer pie support. :)

Thanks to xenoblade (http://villavu.com/forum/member.php?u=110136) for letting me use an account with under 85 agility so I could get it working.

Oh forgot to mention I made it so that it only works with SMART V8, so if you don't have that it wont compile. It was kinda on accident so I will probably re-upload so that you don't need it. For now you can either update to SMART V8 or just take the 8 out of {$DEFINE SMART8} at the top of the script.

i have a suggestion for you...as soon as you come down the pipe,you can make the script use the basic magic ability,surge which will tele you directly to the log balance in a second... :)

hey buddy :)

the script fails to find the log after every lap and tries a TPA back up(making camera angle north and clicking) and also some times fails to find branch or barrier :(

i have a suggestion for you...as soon as you come down the pipe,you can make the script use the basic magic ability,surge which will tele you directly to the log balance in a second... :)

Hmmm. You have the HP set correctly in the script settings? Might be a problem with SRL, I'll see if I can find any info on it.

After you surge, I think it might run backwards because that's where your flag is at on the minimap. I could be wrong though.

After you surge, I think it might run backwards because that's where your flag is at on the minimap. I could be wrong though.

Is anyone else having problems with it locating the hole to go down at the end? Mine seems to just highlight different areas of the fence. Any suggestions?

Having an error. Came back and it was standing near the tree. Then the character began running in random areas of the course. Until it finally found the correct course part. I see a few other players there having this issue from time to time.

Yeah I've seen that bug a couple of times...it doesn't happen often so it's kind of hard to debug it. I think its from finding the TPA of the net, and it just messes up but I'm not sure. If you ever see it happen let me know.

Are you sure all of your settings are set to what front page says(especially zoom)? If so, what does it say in the log once it gets there.

Also just a fair warning to all people using any script, you may want to bot in moderation for a while because apparently this 'bot watch' from Jagex is working well but is only working in certain spots currently such as LRC. As far as I know no one has been banned using my script though but just giving you a heads up to bot in moderation(don't bot for 24 hours straight).

Ran this script for 10 minutes, some suggestions, look at using SetScreenMouse (antiban include) as that's how I see most legit people changing the compass to train agility (not everyone sets their compass to exactly south) Try adding some failsafes for location detection so the script can recover from the six hour log (I know you have a custom logout at around 5 hrs)

Yeah I could change the way it uses the compass, only reason I have it set to do it that way is because it's pretty hard to get a DTM of the pole that works with a ~5 degree change if it just manually changes the compass direction with the keys. I'll see if I can get a working DTM or even just use TPA's for the pole. Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorry it messed up, I think it was looking for one of the climb branches and cut the trees instead. Its really hard to pinpoint this bug because no one has actually seen it happen as far as I'm aware, but I'll see if I can work on a new version soon to prevent this from happening.

b. I guess I could, but not sure if its completely necessary. Unless you mean activate it every X hours, you could just activate it before you start the script.
c. I put it there because with SMART 8 you don't need to close SMART and Simba so didn't think it would be a problem really. I'll change it next version though.

Exactly what I've meant... make it activate the aura every X hours +- random factor (less bot like behaviour).
The aura does wonders to xp/hr since it prevents failure of most obstacles for 40 mins (the greater surefooted). so basically it is either 20 mins+2hr cooldown+random factor for tier 1 or 40 mins+2hr+random factor for tier 2.

im having problems with the pole. sometimes it clicks too fast when the jumping animation from the previous obstacle havent end, so im standing near the pole and it takes about 15sec before it do a failsafe to look for pole again.

update: i found out this because i didnt off xp pop up...great script!

as a matter of fact - seems like the bot fails to recognize it's location on more than a few occasions. using the minimap to sort that out could help

Are you starting it at the log? The way it works is it tries each obstacle 3 times and if it doesn't complete it then it goes to the next one. I've had the script get stuck after it goes down the barrier, it seems to think it hasn't yet and clicks on the barrier. Another thing it randomly does is it stands in the middle of the course instead of going back to the log. I think a lot of its down to lagging, since it thinks it's already clicked an object when it hasn't.

while getting 99 using your script 1month ago, i got the same bug as well. i think its probably lag. i did edit some part of the script in order to stop getting that bug, forgot where i edited,probably somewhere near the barrier and start. it kind of randomly proceed on to barrier while still doing the bars(before barrier), the failsafe will work for barrier obstacle but once it is at start, it failed to go through start before going to logs.

Maybe, have you set everything correctly on the front page? I haven't tested the script in a couple months so not sure what all is still working. Guy that posted above me seems to have it working well though.

did you toggle xp popups to be off?
the xp/hr should be ~55k

Runs for like 10 minutes then closes, trying to find a way to fix what I'm doing wrong :\

Check the instructions on the front page. My guess is your exp counter is set wrong because it will take time to continue if it doesn't go up.

Still going over log, and not being able to find net, have checked graphics, and all settings cannot figure out what is wrong. help please

I'll take a look at it tomorrow, make sure your zoom is all the way in and everything is set correctly from front page. Going to sleep for now.

Hi there, i have encountered the bug where it passes the log but fails to climb the net. I have done exactly as described, started at log, it crossed the log when debugger said couldnt find log with TPA, and then it just got stuck and would not climb the net. Had summer pies inventory, set my agility level to 80 and started the script. Anybody mind telling me what i am doing wrong here?

I keep getting 35k exp as well. How do i check FPS also. Where do I find the camera pan option shown on page one in the directions?

I keep having problems at the barrier, it can't seem to find it. It gets suck on this continuous loop and searches the wooden gates around the barrier and bellow it. Not sure how to fix it. I have the camera zoom where it needs to be. The xp pop ups disabled. Tracker set on agility. Fixed screen and min graphics. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I had/have the same issue. I think the DTM(s) fail because of lag/processing power (I believe, not really sure). You can try to keep modifying the barrier DTMs which is what I kind of have to do when I see it start to fail again.

Script should be updated, it uses only TPA backups :) therefore in some places it does alot of not necessary movements. there for is not very smart to use that script currently (because of ban wave and it looks way too botty). In other hand it completes laps pretty good, just sometimes messes up a little bit.
