Ok so I was just hacked like 5 minutes ago. So I was just killing some armoured zombies. I wasn't using any scripts here. I know Simba is safe and that stuff blah blah blah. I haven't downloaded any programs or anything like that. My RS tab went white and it wouldn't let me refresh the page. So i just went to "www.runescape.com" and logged back in. Found myself by the fountain at the GE with no money in my pouch and my armor gone. They didn't drop anything they couldn't take like degraded armors, chaotics, junk like that. So obviously they knew what they were doing. Can anyone give me any info on this?

p.s I didn't get the last logged in IP because i wasn't worried about being hacked.

Probably driveby Java virus. Reformat and then change passwords.

Positive it wasn't a phish. Harry can you explain driveby Java viruses to me in a little bit of detail?

You clicked a download link without knowing it, downloaded or updated java through a non-legitimate path, etc. Generally it just means you made a mistake of some kind.

When you first load a game like runescape a message pops up and asks if you want to run java. Most people click yes without even thinking about it. If you went to a page and gave java access then that is a possible way they got you. That is a java driveby

A Java-Driveby is where you click to open what seems to be a legitimate Java file (Such as the prompt you get on runescape) Why then releases a FUD Virus (Most of the time it's FUD).

Common problem, your not alone. But from here they can control your computer

BTW: I only got the problem since I use simba NEVER before

Simba is not a hacking virus mate.

Have you ever bought pins, gold, or other similar stuff from anyone before? Maybe you've played on a RSPS and picked up something malicious there.

why you guys ignoring the fact he whited out at armoured zombies? he obviously died there......

Location: Anywhere that has WIFI

this is probably another reason your computer is insecure, using other people's wifi gives them access to YOUR computer

Didn't die at armoured zombies? I had all the armor that couldn't be traded still on my character which is more than 3 items. I had a bunyip and was at full health.

And the location is a joke... Much like many others' here. Anyway they don't just get unrestricted access to any computer that connects to it. Also if someone possibly COULD, they wouldn't have been out for my RSGP.
