Hey Guys,
I am sorry if this questions is posted somewhere else but I couldn't find it.
I downloaded WINE and installed Simba in Ubuntu.
When I tried to run MSI I got an error:
[Error] (359:14): Unknown identifier '' at line 358
Compiling failed.
Line 358 is just NPCChars = CharsNPC;
Not sure what is wrong, if anyone could give some advice it would be great.
What I have tried:
- Overriding the updates and updating everything again
- Restarting and retrying.
ALSO : Whenever I try and close it, it seems to freeze and I have to Force Quit it :duh:

I should also mention I am using the WINE method of running the .exe`s

The freezing thing is generally a wine thing haha:p I know how you feel--as a mac user I've come to find that wine has its problems at times, at least using ubuntu you can update it more than on a mac!
As for the compiling error making it:
NPCChars := CharsNPC
might help. Also, you may need to define one of those two things (either NPCChars or CharsNPC) as a variable.
If you can give a bit more code and copy/paste the debug box you'd probably be able to get more help;) Asking about errors in the thread you found the script in might help also!

Hey, well it isn`t my code, it is just me trying to run MSI (which obviously works :P)
For some reason when I do it now the error is:
Running MSI...
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/core/simba.simba(340:14): Unknown identifier '' at line 339
Compiling failed.
Line 339 of MSI is just begin lol (highlight comes up on the Scar Standard Resource Library simba tab)
Installed it the same way I did on windows and it all worked fine on windows.

No Debug log was formed because it was never compiled? Just highlighted that one line.

Check for updates under tools, SRL, SPS, and MSI.

Did that, I even did the override and force updates.

Unfortunately, that is all the help I can give. I was hoping it had nothing to do with Ubuntu lol.

I have installed it and it works perfectly fine on windows, not sure why it isn't working on Ubuntu...
