I have an old PC that I was going to merely use for botting. It has a 2.6 gHz Celeron processor with a whooping total of 1 gig of RAM. The idea was to use this PC merely for running my scripts so my normal beastly laptop wouldn't be burdened with doing so. I would use Microsoft's Remote Desktop to look to see if that computer wasn't blowing up and junk.

However... the computer doesn't have the moxie to run SMART and scripts and the such. I have the absolute newest version of Java and I set up the computer for absolute best performance with what I have. The connection will time out every time I test with MSI scripts.

Any idea how I can get this PC to be good enough to run scripts or is it FUBAR?

I have a PC with pretty much the same setup and it doesn't even play RuneScape on safe mode, its too slow.

I used to not have a problem with it. It runs RS fine on the lowest. I ran other bots on it a while back. I was just hoping it'd be able to do something :p Guess not.

That might be your problem, try java 6 29-31. Pretty sure those are the best for RS, the new one people have been having problems. Gl.
