Simba Lag !

Hello, i recently bought an alienware m14x , and i never have troubles whit simba on my old laptop, but on this new laptop im having a lot of lag on simba client, i can open 15 tabs of epicbot and rarebot at the same time whitout getting the client lagged, and when i open one single simba the client is lagged.
every help is welcome.

I'm having a similar problem. My computer sucks, so RS is pretty laggy, but when running a script, it gets even laggier to the point where it freezes, and I can't bot properly.

Java 6, not Java 7.

im running simba on a virtual box with 1870MB base memory and I have no lag....... The bigger the Simba script the more lag, try using the simpler scripts.

lol I don't think the length of the script effects lag at all, it's the code within it.
But as stated earlier, most major lag in SMART is caused by having Java 7 instead of Java 6.

I am already using Java 6. Also, the lag begins when I actually execute the script.

I've always had this problem, even when using Java 6. How do I solve it? I don't, that's why it takes me forever to test my scripts because I never know whether its just my lag that causes bugs :(

OT: Try using some FPS Game Booster tools, they may help

Smart is weird for me also, sometimes its like 5fps the other day its 20fps :/

My computer is ridiculously powerful, and I too, had this problem, until I discovered a pattern.

First of all, yes, you need Java 6 (Update 29, I think?) 32-Bit.

Second, if it's lagging really badly, slide the FPS bar on the right side of the client up some.

Third, and seemingly most unknown, when you open Simba and run SMART, all is well, yes? But then you have a problem with the script due to testing or whatever and you need to restart/reload SMART. From what I've noticed/experienced, every time you reload SMART without closing and re-opening (restarting) Simba, SMART will be exponentially slower. I can't reload SMART more than three times (without restarting Simba) without the "lag" causing a significant problem. If this is the case, simply restart Simba and follow my first and second points and all should be well.
