I'm not sure if this has been happening with anybody else, but every time I create a DTM and select 'Show Matching DTM's', my Simba + SMART crashes as well as my computer.

It's been happening for the past three days and it's really beginning to piss me off, is anyone else having this error or have a solution?

maybe your DTMs are too general? I know if it detects too many it will crash, but mines working fine.

Yeah like if it only has like 3 points and its set to a high tolerance or something.

Tried it, waited 10 seconds, it worked.

Made my next DTM, crashed again.

Your DTM is indeed too general.

Example: 3 points with 200 tolerance on one will crash it. Too high of an area can also crash it.

Try something like 7 points, 50 tolerance on each and it should work. If the DTM is found too many times, it will crash the program and the script. What DTM are you trying to make?

Perhaps try making the search bitmap smaller? (I've had this happen to me too)

I am making a DTM of Coal ore and Mithril Ore.

Has 4 points, with a tolerance of 10 -20 on each. I will make more advanced right now and post results.


EDIT: Adding more pints/lower tolerance seems to have fixed it.

EDIT2: @ TotalKillz I will rep you tomorrow because I repped everyone else in the thread and have reached my limit for 24 hours :p

Doesnt matter the number of points or tolerance, that is just a good guide.

What it comes down to, is how often the DTM can be detected. If you have very few points with high tolerance, it will always happen. It will still happen though if you have 100 points and no tolerance if the DTM can be found hundreds or thousands of times in the given screen.
