Loading time of Client

When my RS client is loading, it takes a month of sundays to get anywhere, particularly with the Updates. During loading of most of the Update sequences I start getting this e.g.
"Fetching Updates - 62% (9)"
Which I have never seen before, my client is still loading now and has taken at least 10 minutes so far.:confused:

Ran into the same thing since the game update fixing fps issues. If you are using SMART slide the fps slider (far right side) all the way to the top. Once client is loaded you can lower it again if you want.

Yeah, this also happened to me, for some reason I find if I minimise SMART and simba and open up another window on my computer it all seems to happen an awful lot quicker, maybe try that and see if it helps?

If you're still having trouble loading after turning the FPS up with the slider, load runescape through the official website and download any updates before running SMART.
