Hey guys!

I'm not a great scripter but I have fun with it, and I'm just a little stuck with conveying some ideas into code.
Would somebody please be able to point me to a relevant tutorial or perhaps sneak a little code to start me off with the idea? Any time or effort would be greatly appreciated.

I'm building a bandit bot with full guthaning switching, and the script is quite flawless if you were able to hold a spot without crashers. It isn't too much of an issue without a procedure to attack the bandits however I feel it would be a great inclusion to keep xp/hr up and anti-ban.

This would be easy for myself to implement if i included walking to the script, however I would rather stay away from that as it currently will work for hours.

What I'm looking for is code to ensure that the bandit that i'm attacking is either 1 step north, south, west or east of the player (ObjectDTM????).

What exactly are you trying to do with this? Verify that there is an npc next to you after you've attacked (like a failsafe of some sort)?

It might be hard to detect that since bandits are all around, bandits might be at all sides one tile away from you. But what's the point detecting them?

It's okay I had a good think about it, it isn't viable and would be too buggy.
I wanted to incorporate an attacking function to attack the bandits attacking other players in a multicombat area without adding walking.

I just thought it would be handy to have whilst 2 people are in a tent

Thanks for the quick reply nonetheless
