View Full Version : Walking method
I'm currently writing a coal guild miner script and have for the most part completed it. However, I have run into a slight hiccup with walking from any random point within the mine over to the ladders.
Any recommendations for the best walking method to use down there for that?
For the rest of the script I have been using ObjectDTM walking and it's all working quite successfully.
Any suggestions are appreciated :)
Try using SPS in a spiral format by making your own map.
I've read a couple of tutorials after your suggestion but I don't understand how I would make a map of just the guild. Would I need to make one for the whole of the dungeon?
I tried just using the dwarven_mines folder in the include but that didn't work. So I moved the images into the runescape_other folder. This at least compiled and had SPS clicking along some sort of path. Unfortunately it kept clicking in the black area a fair way north of where i had set the path (using Wolygon's Path Creator v0.9).
If this is already explained in a tutorial I may not have read then by all means lead me there. I've already read through -
SPS Walking Guide (The Basics) By Aligndude (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71461)
How To Create a SPS Map. [World Map Veiw](http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75181)
How to make and use Custom SPS Maps from the Minimap (http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81109&highlight=walking)
And after reading through these still can't ascertain how I would make my own map and implement it, or what is going wrong with the current map that I moved.
Any help with relation to SPS is greatly appreciated, or another method of completing this stretch of walking
