Any tips on how i can keep my laptop cool while botting over night?
I don't need to worry about hot room as my room is quite cold at the moment :(
Minimze power output, keep it on an elevated surface, so that the fan/vent is virtually airborne.
I went and bought a fan which cost me 15$.
point a large enough fan straight up, put laptop on said fan. its like having one of those laptop lap coolers things, its the only thing that works for me if i just have the fan pointing at the laptop it overheats :/

Laptop stands can help, or if you can't afford one, you can probably make a makeshift one. Basically just keep it elevated so that the fan isn't pointing directly towards a hard surface. Also, opening up the laptop and cleaning out the fan can help. You won't believe the amounts of lint and dust you will find inside, blocking your fan.

Put it in the fridge
Jk. Elevation is king, vacuum the air vents if necessary and keep them from being blocked by obstacles. Possibly get an external fan, but thats kind of overkill.

I just ordered a free fan, I think it will work great, plus u can use a program called smc fan control if you are on a mac which makes the fan go faster.

Also silver compound would be nice.

Love your Avatar Sin ;)
OT: Yeah elevate it up by putting 2 book there and make it so you can fit you hand under there, that will ensure it has easily accessible Air flow all night.

Your best bet is to buy a dock with a fan to keep it cool.

Yeah a fan is a good idea.
If you don't have one to spare or don't want to buy one, at the very least you should be elevating your laptop to get some airflow circulating.

I just put mine on top a english textbook. I only bot one account (24/7). Run cpu bar at half on SMART i can run it on high no probs also. But i'm guessing most of your here bot 3+ acc's at a time (and then i get derepped "gold farmer is mad"). Also if hate when your task bar is clogged with stuff you can use Power Menu to minimize/always leave on top/ or change transparency. very useful.

Why hasnt any said to just flip your laptop over so the fan/the hot parts are facing up. This is what i do and my laptop doesnt over heat that much.
