No, he acted cocky like "Search first" assuming he didn't search, yet the solution he pulled up by with his cocky attitude failed.

Telling someone to search first isn't cocky at all. It gets annoying seeing people post the same questions day after day when they've all been answered before; an annoyance which could be stopped by people using the search button.
