New person needing help

So after floating around in Tutorial Island for a bit, I still don't find myself comfortable enough to run a script.

This is what I want to try and run:

And I can get it loaded in Simba. I change all of the settings I can see to change. But when I hit the play button, smart loads, and yeah. That's it. No GUI shows up, it's kinda just like running RS in a windowed client. I tried following instructions as best I could, I googled, and as previously mentioned, I read a few tutorials on the whole simba thing (which is a tad overwhelming, I must say, but I like the community thusfar).

Eventually, I'd like to start scripting on my own. But I feel like I should run scripts before I try anything crazy. Any help would be great.

The issue is that... shouldn't it do something? I am trying to run a script to automatically make tabs. It isn't making tabs. It's sitting there. And in screenshots, there is a GUI. There is no GUI when I see it.

well if you set up rs/the script/java correctly. it should work. if it doesnt, that maybe it is out of date. it hasnt been updated in 4 months

Others are claiming it works, so I'd like to think it does. I may not be setting the script up properly is my theory, i just don't know what I could be doing wrong.

Yeah, it successfully executes, but Smart still has nothing on it. Just regular old Runescape. No idea what the hints to the variables could mean.

1) Press 'S' to while runescape is loading to load it in safe mode (Press the disable smart button so that runescape can read you keys and mosue)
2) Make sure it's on fixed screen mode.
3) Make sure you are using max brightness and the lowest settings

holding down S from the time you start up the applet to the time u can log in (somewhere in between, idk when) will put you in safe mode.

Are SRL stats necessary? Only thing that's apparent to me.
