Scripting Help

I have in the past tried to learn scripting but lost interest as RS started to suck for me.
Seeing as I have taken up to playing again I thought to take another shot at learning.
I was wondering if you guys had some tips or link to up to date tutorials for scripting.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

AFAIK YoHoJo's tutorials are still up to date (just need to change the .scar to .simba) :)
