View Full Version : How about a tutorial on using Simba w/o SMART?

Title says it all. I looked through most of the tutorial sections and couldn't find one. If SMART is so detectable, then I should probably be using a browser version of RS. I have tried using the cross hairs, but then SMART doesn't compile right. If I comment out the SMART includes, the script breaks.

Just search through the script and comment out any lines that have the word SMART in them, if you get errors post them here :)

Yeah commenting worked. However, after I point the cross hairs to where RS is open, and Simba prints out "New Window 834723" and hit run, nothing happens.

EDIT: I take that back. If I am not logged in, nothing happens, and the script stops. If I log in manually, when I hit run, it brings RS to the front and the window flashes, and that's it.

that might be your scripts problem. You can also run the rs window resized (as long as it shows the full rs game) and then you can view simba and see the debug.

Make sure you position your windows so that both runescape and simba are visible at the same time, post the debug info...

Make sure your runescape graphics are set properly

Debug says it's been 3 minutes and Runescape hasn't loaded. So perhaps I am pointing it at the wrong window?

Your graphics are wrong?

Have you set the graphics correctly?

yeah graphics are right, otherwise smart wouldn't work either. Min settings, fixed window with brightness maxed.

Add
WriteLn(RsReady);
as the first thing in the main part of the script, post what comes up in the debug...

Not saying you haven't, but try double checking your graphics. Sometimes for me at least, SMART loads with different settings than the actual web client does. Just something to look into. :)
