So basically yesterday my SMART client stopped launching (yes i can open runescape in a browser) so i uninstall simba, then reinstall it (when i uninstalled it it didn't delete everything and i didn't have permissions to delete (even though i'm the admin and the only user on this computer.) so i just reinstalled) so i run the newly installed simba, but there are no updates under SRL/MSI/SPS, when i run a script it has no idea what the includes are or where they are, yes i have all my extensions enabled (that should be enabled), i've done everything excactly how the tut tells me to do it but my includes folder is still empty! This is pissing me off because me and my friends were going to start working on a private swamp liz w/ bank script today but i can't unless i figure out how to fix this!

Try disabling and re-enabling the extensions.. do you have the extensions files in your simba/extensions folder? have you checked for simba updates? What happens if you force an update for SRL SPS and MSI?

If i go into the SRL/SPS/MSI menus and hit update it says no update available. If i try to update simba same thing happens. I'll try disabling each one...

I just disabled all .ext's,restarted simba, enabled, restarted, still nothing. It's as if while i uninstalled the program Simba, all of the data was left behind, and there was data saying that i had all the the includes but i didnt... it's weird...

SRL>settings>override update then try update.

No, i think what that does is it doesn't let it update...It's a check box thingy...

Nope what it does is that it allows force update (that is, when u click update, regardless of whether u already have the latest srl, it will still update and overwrite ur srl include with the latest include (hence fixing the problem of empty include).

This error probably arise because u did not uninstall simba completely, hence the "new" simba u installed still have some setting forms etc residing from the previous simba, hence the new simba thought u already have the latest include (even though u uninstalled them). Enabling override update fixes the problem ;)

Ok so i did that updated everything, now when i run a script it opens up a tab called "simba" and gives me this error
[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/core/simba.simba(340:14): Unknown identifier '' at line 339
Compiling failed.

There is nothing wrong at line 339, i didn't change it or anything(BTW: i restarted simba after updates)

Did you do Settings > Override update for all enabled extensions and then restart simba?

Dissable all extensions, restart update, force update everything, restart simba again, re-enable extensions.. should fix most problems...

If i don't enable MSI there is nothing to to update... I tried that assuming by extensions you just meant the extensions menu... Didn't work

Still getting same error, no matter what i run, whether it is a script or if i run MSI it opens a simba tab and gives me this shit "[Error] C:\Simba\Includes\SRL/SRL/core/simba.simba(340:14): Unknown identifier '' at line 339

Paste the lines around 399 and indicate which one is 399 please...

Encoding problem. Copy what you posted on this thread and replace it with the one in your include, if it doesn't work, uninstall Simba. Delete C:/Simba

Re-install simba and re-enable your extensions, update SRL 2 times and whatever else 2 times. 1 Never works. Don't know why.

When i uninstall it, it leaves the c/simba folder, but i don't have permissions to delete. I've manually set my permissions to full ocntrol and STILL can't delete it. fuck me...

What error did it give when u try to del it? "file already in use"? Try restart ur computer, set the permission of YOUR USER (not the admin's) to full control, then restart com again, then try del.

If you still cant delete, u can try use some 3rd party software (revo uninstaller etc) or just try to delete most of the files inside the Simba folder.
