Yesterday I randomly began getting the "Ensure applet blah blah" error when trying to run S.M.A.R.T/Scripts. I changed the server number to see if that would fix the problem and it was to no avail. So I did research and a lot of sources were telling me to delete java and reinstall, or reinstall previous versions, so I began. To cut to the point, after updating Java, reinstalling it and trying older versions it still would not work, most main stream solutions fail anywayes.

Fix
1. Navigate and open up your computers device manager

2. Go to the display adapters, and it should say your graphics card. If not open the start menu then go run, and type dxdiag and it will load all of your computers information, which may also tell you your graphics card.

3. Go to a good search engine that does not invade your privacy and sell your information to corporations(Google). Such as www.startpage.com, and proceed to type in your graphics cards name, and then "driver", search it and then go download it. On the Nvidia website it can auto detect your driver and what you need, if you have say a radeon you're going to have to use your brain and pick the correct one.

Re installing java did not work for fixing the applet error, nor did changing the server value. However re installing the correct display driver fixed it 100% right away.
Sharing information and helping others is good, remember you watch someone get jumped on the street and they will watch you...being self centered might feel good, and is portrayed wide-ly throughout the dinosaur traitor media; but helping others who appreciate it, feels amazing.
