is it possible to start a script by getting it from the net, not saving it on the local computer, and starting it? maybe {.include www.scriptsource.com}

I wish
If we could do that, we could encrypt entire scripts...
sadly though, we can't
It'd be a huge security hole, too

You can save a file from the internet as a SCAR file.
Try running this script:
program New;
var
Script: String;
MyFile: Integer;
procedure MakeFile;
begin
Script := GetPage('http://jason2gs.fileave.com/HelloThere.txt');
MyFile := ReWriteFile('C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.02\Scripts\Hello Gsquare567!.scar', False);
WriteFileString(MyFile, Script);
end;
begin
MakeFile;
end.
Hope I helped ;)

that's an amazing idea, thanks so much. then how would i run the script from there? make my main loop a method and include it in this script? or is there some function im missing, like RunScript(FileName: String)?

Hmm...
*comes back a few minutes later*
I tried the standard way of including a file, that didn't work. I tried if...thenning the file in. That didn't work, I tried open file, that didn't work.
The only thing left I can think of is using an include file that's already there, rewriting it to include what you need, then using whatever procedures you need.
Good luck!
Mike.

@ Post above Jason's: Can't. Another security feature
Just tell the person to open that file
Maybe write a shortcut to the desktop, and just tell them to double click it?

rewritefile(.../desktop)
