Hello all,

In the past month rares have risen dramatically, anyone know what that reason might be?

Have injection bots or bots in general gotten stronger, therefore bringing more money into RS? Anything else that I have missed in the past month? Is Jagex slacking on the banning of bots?

Again just trying to figure it out as I have been out of the loop for over a month or so.

The glitch (crucible one) added a load of GP into the game, be prepared for inflation :l

I saw a forum post at which reported that 800B was from ONE person.
The comp caper (t) estimates that it was atleast 3T judging from browsing "various untrustworthy sites not supported by Jagex".

that would explain one of the guys on PA, in the last four days he has done multiple trades of 30,000m x 10 a day

Yeah.. stupid crucible glitch owned the economy and price of gold.

I admit I would have done it too if I had a max cash stack.

Its been like a while since it happened though. Most of that gold has already been sold. Unless they are able to actually fully roll the whole thing back to where all that gold no matter where it is will disappear. I have no idea how this stuff works.

As some are aware, there was an issue with the Crucible fee system which was heavily exploited by unscrupulous members of the community. The issue has since been fixed and we are now focusing our attention to those involved.

Please rest assured that we investigating every single player involved/related to this glitch. Every player that we identify (as either taking part or assisting another player) will have action taken against their account. The severity will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

If you feel that you can supply us with any information concerning this glitch or wish to report a player that you know abused this bug, please do so in this thread.

For those asking about whether their presence in the Crucible at the time of the bug will be pulled up negatively.

Rest assured we have the tools to accurately identify those actively responsible to those being in the area legitimately. No player genuinely innocent at this time will be affected.

I've already started working through a list of names offered to me by the community and internal investigations so anything you have to offer is considered high priority.
