Hey, despite many hours reading tutorials and guides on how to create DTM's I find myself unable to do so. :duh:
Is there any any very kind person out there that would do me the honour of creating me a few.
DTM's Needed: Air Staff, Water Staff, Earth Staff, Fire Staff.
Help Would be muchly appreciated.

*Open up Simba.
*Hit 'view' up at the top, to get a drop down menu; select 'extensions.'
*Click where it says, 'dtm_editor.sex'
*While this is highlighted, check the box at the bottom of the same interface, so there's a check in the box (enabling the dtm editor extension)
--Now, if you are using RS in a web browser/game client, move the green circle (cross hairs icon in simba) and drag that onto the RS game interface. (you should see the whole RS screen have a red filter over it)--
*Go back to Simba, hit the 'tools' drop down menu; then click 'DTM editor'
With the DTM editor; you can now create DTM's. If you make it this far, I'd recommend the tutorials in the tutorial section on how to create DTM's. A short explanation I'd suggest to get DTM's of those staffs, is to: left click to create a point over the air orb section of the staff, then choose some outlying points on the black outline (whether it be in the orb part, or further down the staff). I'd also recommend using a tolerance of 15 on your points (Demise). Zooming in while using the DTM editor helps you choose more specific points. Hope this helps.
I always pick DTM's inside the shape, not using the edge, just my personal preference.

I think yohojo has a video tut on making DTM's, super easy to follow, its really the best way to learn.

Building onto this,
function FindDTM(DTM: Integer; var x, y: Integer; xs, ys, xe, ye: Integer): Boolean;
FindDTM is the most basic DTM finding function. It takes a box to search in, defined by x1, y1, x2, y2; and if the DTM is found, it will set x and y to the coordinate the DTM was found at and it will also return true. Else, it returns false. Once a DTM is found, it will stop searching. In other words; it always returns the first found DTM.
Example:
WaterStaff := DTMFromString('dkfjsalvnhxcljkvnskldfsdkfjdksj'); //Don't actually try using this
If FindDTM(WaterStaff, x, y, MIX1, MIY1, MIX2, MIY2) then
Mouse(x, y, 6, 6, true);
That would click the water staff if found.
