View Full Version : Copying/Pasting a script in text-form

On a few threads there are often updated versions of a script that are not avaliable to download as a .simba file, but are only presented as a large body of text.

So when I simply copy/paste this text into simba, instead of hundreds of lines long, it all goes into one very long line. Obviously, this will not compile. Is there something more to this I am missing? How do I go about saving the text into the correct file type?

Thanks for the help.

it should compile. if it doesnt, then the code is out of date. but idk any way besides manually adding in returns. :/

I paste it into word then re copy the relevant parts and it copies over perfectly. should also work with the open office version.

use notepad ++ ?

It usually neatens stuff up for me or just paste directly into Simba and run it, the returns and tabs are just to make it easier to look at/through.. as far as i know anyway.

Put it in simba then use the Parser extension to parse it :)
