Earlier today, my router started to crap out. Basically, it will turn on, load upC and as soon as it connects to the Internet, it reboots... It keeps looping this cycle until I unplug it. Any idea what's going on? I'm using a DLink DIR-615 router, and for those wondering, this message was made via cellular.

You got a call?
Just restart it, or update firmware.

Got a call? I've rebooted it and pin-hole resettled it multiple times with no success. How do you update router firmware?
E: When I said cellular, I meant I made this on my phones browser without wifi, because I knew someone would question that.

You go to the 'router website' by typing in the Router's IP address in the internet browser of a computer on the same network as the router.
(Since it's broken you'll probably need to hardwire a computer to the router)
Then on the router page there will be a place to upload the firmware file, google for the latest firmware for your router model, upload it, and it will update the firmware.

That's my best guess of a fix too.

If it started doing that randomly for no reason, it might just be broken :/.

Can't google the latest firmware, I only have internet access on my phone. Also, the router restarts every 30 seconds, won't my browser kick me off once it disconnects? I have a computer hard wired, and the computer light lights up on my router for about 20 seconds per reboot.

Sounds dead :(.
Unplug the router and leave it alone for a few hours/overnight.
Try again tomorrow, try a reset again too, if still nothing I think it's borked!

Call your ISP and make them give you an answer to your problem.

Bummer too cuz the DIR-615 is a decent router (ours is going strong after 2 years now). Ya it does sound gerked though. However the same model is still only $35 or less (got ours for $25 on sale).

Damn that's cheap. They go for the equivalent of $150+ in my country, and the ISP charges you extra if you don't buy one of their "supported" routers.(supported ones are total crap but the company pays the ISP to get sales)
