How do i make my script make backspaces for (SCAR)
Typsend(backspace); WHAT IS IT?=!?!

It's for SCAR not SIMBA!!!
If SCAR doesn't have virtual key constants then find the integer representing back space:
BACK: 8
Therefore, TypeSend(8).

It can't be TypeSend(8) since if we put a '8' in the () It'll type that integer.
Without the '8' it won't recognize it.
Ops
PressKey(8).
Or KeyUp KeyDown if you want a random wait in between.

I'm pretty sure SCAR has KeyUp/KeyDown or something equivalent. If not, uninstall the crap.

Agreed with riwu, simba has everything SCAR has & more.

It does. But that has nothing to do with what i'm asking, WHAT is the syntax for BACKSPACE.

Daher, Why don't you ask this on the SCAR forums?

Every question must be reviewed by Moderators which technically means hours, and if any other questions pops up after you. You'll never get answered, and i'm pretty sure villavu isn't only made for SIMBA it's made for both SCAR and SIMBA + before SIMBA came alone it was only for SCAR.

More reasons for you to ditch SCAR. :p We have a few members here who are familliar with scar, but not many. We revolve around simba, not SCAR.

It's a SRL Resource Library forum... i can discuss whatever i want...

Okay, I'll leave you alone if you give me one good reason SCAR is better then SIMBA.
Still not sure why you're so keen on using scar.

It isn't the smartest thing to ask about non-srl functions in an SRL forum. It's like going to a language course and asking people to solve your math problem.

if we're talking actual members. I'd say more members have used SCAR then have not.

This is true :) You posted in the public help forum as well. I do not understand footy's hesitation... :/

Footy, you're just opening a can of worms. DO NOT argue about which is better on here. SCAR came way before SIMBA.
SIMBA is open source SCAR is not.
I prefer SCAR, but SRL is for SIMBA now so I'm SOL. :P

Actually since programming is resolved with math, but in another language. I'd say that you're right in a way but what i actually mean is what's the syntax i could use to get it to recognize backspace ? This isn't a complete different language, or anything.

It works in SIMBA and SCAR. JUST TESTED it twice in each...

wait(3000);
KeyDown(8);
wait(15);
KeyUp(8);
end.

Scar 3.22, Download here (http://uppit.com/hgwvr8lk8dr7/Scar_v3.22.zip) not sure why its not working in newer version ask that on official forum.
KeyUp/KeyDown are extremely fundamental procedures that almost any compiler would have them in-built. Did you download your scar from youtube or somewhere else?
Also all virtual keys are represented by integers, and 8 represents Back, which should be universal across almost all platforms. Try reading the SCAR/Simba documentation.

And give me the integers and a example of the function. I've got the latest version of it, from Scar-Divi.com :cartman:

http://docs.villavu.com/simba/scriptref/mouseandkeyboard.html
Skip down to keyboard virtual keys there to find which integer represents which key.
TypeKeys('ABCD' + #8)
This should make it type ABCD and then delete the D. Don't have scar downloaded so I didn't try, but that's the way to use letters in Simba.

Keep this thread civil please. At the start there was some unnecessary bias towards scar. And then there were some good solutions posted which sadly doesn't work with the newest scar anymore. No need to call anyone dumb though. Most people posted here with the intention to help you.
You are all wrong. All of you.
I typed that as a joke btw.

You shouldn't insult people that tried to help you, when you were in the wrong being at a forum that has nothing to do with SCAR.
