Is there a way to type and chat while a script is running with SMART?

(like how it is with Powerbot for example?)

I tried to search the forum but I couldn't find an answer.

You can but there is a delay since Smart's typing system is a queue system. It queues all events. When there is time to send them through, it'll send them.

It's really not supposed to behave like that though. Sometimes it'll lose events. Ben fixed it back in 6.x but somehow it stopped in 8.x :S

For now, minimize and restore the client and your letters will go through.

So how do you actually type? Just do it and it will show up eventually or minimize and restore?

You do realize that if you are doing, say alching and talking at the same time it will give away that you are botting. Who can alch and type at the same time other than a bot?

Just saying doing this would be extremely dumb.

lol thanks for the warning. TBH I never thought about that :duh:

So, provided that I will be careful, can you help me with my original question? Right now, I always have to disable smart to be able to type. How would you type while a script is running?

Minimize SMART, unminimize, click on the window, type whatever you want and press enter, minimize, unminimize.
All while the script is running and input disabled.
