Computer Locker - For The SRL Community

Well, looks like some people are in need of this (probably due to pesky parents or siblings), so I created it.

Added a lock program feature. You have two chances to get the password right, if not you gotta restart the program :p

Password is srl

Whoever uses it, enjoy.

Umm i just tried it for fun.

It doesn't seem to work as i can still type, still open/close windows, and access the start menu and things like that. It hides the task bar but thats it. I will look through it more but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Its only meant to hide the taskbar and disable task manager =o

Name other things and I'll add them.

Umm i would add an option to lock everything like in the scar script that locked your computer. Like where you can move the mouse and type the password in, but you can't do anything else such as open anything.

Mabey hide all dled programs and hide itself and just auto restart with pc ultimatly solves the prob

Could I see the source code? This is in delphi right? I don'tplan on dis-assembling it.

Can you make it so you just see the programmie on the screen until you got the password?

A suggestion would be to switch to active desktop and show this computer is locked. Or you can just have it Disable view icons on screen to prevent openign anything. And to prevent the opening of programs open disable Alt+Tab.

Unfortunatly tho all those options are only available for Windows Me-Windows Xp (Unsure about Vista), meaning this program is useless on Mac.

Another suggestion is to hide itself until a key combo is hit maybe s+r+l ;)

Im concentrating my efforts on the UID Tool, and there isn't that much interest in this program =p

But how do I quit the program if it locks the comp...
I'll propably just make scar disable keyboard and make it drag mouse to 0,0 until f2 is pressed :p

And yeah i know cath, its because it only hides the start bar, doesnt disable it.

well you can call me crazy but i have 5 programs to lock and hide all my special files i call it the first stage of being out of my wack job mind . lol i can tell you the names if you want file protection they work good and i have one if they fail to open it a number of set times it will shut down comp or lock it up = complete security. i can also hide my internet tracks thank god for webroot window washer.:p

i'm glad if you can make program what locks whole computer, windows pw locker is crap, even my 3 year old sister can disable it:D
