VB6.0 with bots?

Surly to god if you can to it with scar you must be able to do it with visual basics right? I guess I would have to brush up on a bit of the codes ande learn a bit more of VB before I start botting. I was just wondering if It was possible and If I could apply with it..

Ehhh.. What do you mean? In my opinion delphi owns VB6 anytime in any situation.

Well i guess it would be ok, but u would need to make all of the functions and procedures urself on VB..

Okay so I have not done alot of searching into this language is this a scripting or prgramming and is it as hard as C++? Because I don't think i'm quite ready to move to C++ yet *Sigh*

Well, yea.. SCAR is based on delphi (made in delphi too, i think).. c++ is loads harder than delphi or pascal (pretty much same thing).. But i dont like VB

I find VB alot easier when it comes to the code than C++ and SCAR. But for making a macro VB is alot harder (no includes that you can use easily you have to make everything yourself) and i dont think VB can detect the color at the cursor. Carry on using SCAR its alot better for runescape macroing!

You could code bots in vb, but it wouldn't be easy - like others have mentioned, you'd be starting from scratch: no includes, specialized functions, etc.

On the other hand, while it would take a long time to finish the first bot, after you were done, you'd have a load of nice bot functions, so it'd be easier to make additional bots.

If you want to make bots to sell to people that are easy to set up and all that, go ahead, make your own little vb 'include library', and have fun (ps: check out cruelib, it might help a bit)

If you just want to make a bot every now and then, learn scar, it's alot easier than making your whole include library

The bot itself wouldnt be to powerful as i understand. Does anybody no how to move the mouse in vb on command?

Wow, Well i'll give it a shot in VB. I hope it goes well. I assure my self that it will be alot more fun if I made my own scripting language =D. Lol I don't think i'm up for that though. I so were do I find the delphi compiler? I would really like to start to learn it.

Oh course it can!.... Just have to get the cursor position and getpixel ( or a faster color finding method) and then save the color into a variable!

If you want to, go for it.
Converting SRL's includes is not hard.
Delphi is very similar to Visual Basic.
Feel free to ask me for any help. I've converted/made tons of macros, not bots.
Bots are different then a Macro.

Also, I've been looking at C#.NET, although I hate .NET scripting, I've found it relatively easy.
Do NOT start with C++ if you can't handle VB6.
Start with at least C#.
