View Full Version : SAT experiance of a 7th grader

Well as most of you know, i am a 7th grader. I tried o get into the CTY (california Talent Youth) organisation, so i had to take the SAT. On january 6th 2006, i went to junepero Sierra High where i signed in an sat down. I took the long essay test first, the critical reading (hard), adn the math (easy) section in that order. Well i thought i did very good but i was mistaken. After a month of suspense, the results came. I got a 620 on math, 540 in reading, and 560 in essay. Thats only a total of 1720 :S. I feel very strange now. I did bad :(. Ahh well, its over wit now. I have only another 3 years to prepare...


If you read that...well...you must be borded

Fair enough. I took four practice SATs before I went for the real deal - guess it paid off because I got a 2130.

o.0 4 practice tests! i wouldnt even survive the 2nd :p. Your going to college right?

Not quite yet. I'm in my Senior year... signed acceptance papers last week for the University of Portland, Oregon.

I don't know how you feal ;) I took the sat in 7th grade also and got a 1563. By now I bet your thinking, OMG I BEAT BEN. Sadly I was in 7th grade 2 years ago when the SAT was still a 1600 point test :p. (I had to rub it in, do it every time someone brings up the SAT (no hard fealings :o)) P.S. I'll have to find that paper to get the individual section scores.

Now that I've made you feal worse, let me help :) Remember that you haven't had most of what is on the SAT yet and you are comparing yourself to people that have. In another 3 years you'll do a lot better :)
